I want to support you in living your best life. Living with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and poor self-confidence can leave you feeling lost and alone. Together, I want to support you in being able to find your path through life. As a registered dance/movement therapist (R-DMT), I believe in the mind body connection and the importance of somatic practices joined with cognitive approaches, such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). While I am a DMT, there is never an expectation or pressure to move your body or dance within my sessions. We will take time to explore your emotional experiences within and throughout your body.
I have experience working with teenagers and young adults who have struggled with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, and low self-confidence. I support them in identifying coping skills, challenging thought patterns, and exploring their identity to support them in becoming a confident young person who is able to navigate everyday challenges without it getting them off course.
I strive to provide a supportive environment for all of my clients and to provide space for my clients to explore their feelings in a nonjudgmental space. My therapeutic approach has been described as calm, warm, and empathetic. It is important for you to find a therapist you feel comfortable with and can build a trusting relationship with. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to live your best life.
In my free time I enjoy yoga, taking walks, reading, occasionally binge watching TV, and hanging out with my pup, Luna. I am not originally from PA, so I also enjoy exploring the city and checking out new places and restaurants.
